Carver is well known for its many
cranberry bogs, which are a great attraction in the fall. With cranberry bogs next door to the community or minutes away, they are breathe taking to watch at
harvest time. Just minutes up the road are Edaville RR and
King Richard's Faire. Edaville
Rail Road offers many attractions for family or
individuals at holiday time, Christmas lighting and train rides, prove to be fascinating.
Both Edaville Rail Road and King Richards Faire offer older children an
assortment of job opportunities.
Pine Tree Village is a "Family Community" which means
the community is geared towards people of all ages. There are 186 homes
in the community with 6,000 square foot lots,
all with a country landscaped atmosphere. We offer a variety of homes; Single
and Double-wide, 2 or 3 bedrooms, 1-2 bathrooms and some
with features such as fireplaces, jacuzzi tubs, skylights, 3-season rooms,
central air conditioning and storage sheds.
Residents are limited to one outdoor pet per lot site.
Rules regulating their behavior are in place and are strictly enforced.
In 2004, we added a playground for smaller children and
in 2006 we added a basketball court for our teens.
The Carver school system and community offer many sports activities such
as football, cheerleading, basketball, t-ball, softball and baseball.
The local library offers many activities for the smaller children such
as story hour.
Sampson's Pond (over 1 mile long) is located
up the road from the community and offers a beach area and fishing, boating and
jet skiing is permitted. Within 1 1/2 miles of Pine Tree Village
you can enter Myles Standish State Forest, 23 square miles of beautiful
woodland with bicycle, moped and nature trails. What a place to relax!! The Town of Carver
has several banks, post offices, coffee shops, pizza shops. variety,
grocery, package and hardware stores. Carver also provides many
Houses of Worship, for all faiths. Less than a
twenty minute drive takes you into Plymouth, famous for
Plymouth Rock and the
Mayflower. Plymouth offers plenty of restaurants, shops, beaches with ocean
and pond access. Major shopping malls are located within seven miles of
Pine Tree Village, which host
movie theaters and arcades. A twenty minute drive to Kingston brings you a bowling alley,
t-station, shopping mall and many new shopping centers.
Twenty minutes south in Wareham is a water slide park, restaurants, grocery
stores and beach/boating access. A 1/2 hour drive
takes you to Cape Cod with it's famous beaches, dining, golfing,
boating, fresh and deep sea fishing. The activities in and surrounding Carver are endless...
MOST importantly, most of the towns that surround Pine Tree Village
and Carver are fortunate
to have well equipped modern health facilities;
